Let's explore together some of the most beautiful paintings ever painted and try our hand at painting while using some of these masters' techniques. We will look at John Singer Sargent, Winslow Homer, Andre Derain, Pierre Bonnard and many others. Using some of their ideas, we will take our own compositions beyond simply copying a photo reference and, instead, we will strive to create expressive and innovative works of art. This is an active and fun painting class to encourage experimentation with mediums and techniques.
